THREE STRIKES AND YOU'RE OUT!
After newcomers have attended 3 UKC events to see what we are like and wish to continue attending, we ask that they join the UK Connexion. Why do we require registration?

It is for the protection of our members. It is an unfortunate fact that at many singles' functions that are open to the public, there are married men and women "on safari." We seek to protect our members from such predators. We believe that our requirement that you give your HOME telephone number and address, helps reduce the chance of our having non bona-fide 'single' members.

ATTEND TWO UKC EVENTS ON THE SAME DAY FOR ONE $5 LEVY
Your Executive has decided that on days when there are two UKC events, you may attend the second one free of paying levy - provided you attended the first one and obtained a coupon signed and dated by the first host. The special coupons will be mailed to the first host of the day when he/she is sent a supply of UK QUARTERLIES for the event.
PLEASE CALL TO CANCEL
Our volunteer hosts are human. They understandably get upset when people register for their events and then never show up. PLEASE have the courtesy to contact hosts after booking if for some unavoidable reason you are unable to attend.

Our hosts work hard, gratis, for the benefit of all. And, it is great that they offer so willingly. Please don't "rock the boat".

EVENT RESERVATION
When you are reserving for an event, please give your FIRST AND LAST names and phone numbers plus email address. This will enable the host to notify you if there is a change or cancellation. Hosts are advised to remind registrants to contact them if they are unable to attend. Incidentally, if you reserve for an event where the host buys food for you and you do not attend nor call to cancel you may be billed for the cost of the food.

Please let our Membership Director John, jpett@bell.net, have any new information so that we can continue to keep you informed and on the mail and email lists. It is a requirement of membership that we have your home phone number and address.
